The paradox of trauma is that it has both the power to destroy and the power to transform and resurrect.

Peter Levine

Supervision is vital. It helps maintain an ethical, healthy, and successful psychotherapy practice. It usually begins as a requirement while learning a particular approach. Later supervision becomes practitioner´s own need. At least this was my own experience. Supervision offers fresh perspectives. It acts as a safety check and provides a supportive space for cases that might feel overwhelming.

Moreover, it serves as an enduring avenue for learning, even after years of practice. Engaging in supervision within a specific approach facilitates a deeper mastery of it. Hearing differing viewpoints gives insights. It bridges skill and knowledge gaps. These gaps exist despite experience. For example, I had a year of supervision with an addiction and adolescence specialist. It continues to enrich my practice.

I offer supervision in both one-on-one and group settings. It can be online or offline (in Barcelona). Supervision with me can bring a trauma perspective to your cases: understanding how shocks or trauma affect your client now. Together we can creatively adapt the tools that I offer to your specific approach to therapy.
